Chris Aluka Berry

Chris Aluka Berry is an award-winning photographer whose work has been exhibited nationally and is held in permanent collections at institutions such as the High Museum of Art, the Asheville Art Museum, and the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture. Author of Affrilachia: Testimonies, his photography has also been featured in books like the Smithsonian’s The American Flag and the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Keeping The Dream Alive. A musician with over 20 years of experience and a mindfulness practitioner for more than a decade, Aluka believes that photography can be a tool that fosters well-being and self-discovery.
