Join retired Warren Wilson Art Professor Dusty Benedict in partnership with Saveur the Journey on an exciting small-group culinary and cultural adventure in the beautiful mountainous region of Haute Savoie France Septmeber 7-15, 2027. We will visit cheese-makers, charcuterie experts, bakers, pastry chefs, butchers, wineries and farmers to learn about their craft and taste the fruits of their labor. We will share meals with French hosts, swim in beautiful Lake Geneva, hike through mountain pastures, visit a French market, learn to cook with French chefs, and immerse ourselves in the culture of the Haute Savoie region. Bed and breakfasts, and mountain hotels will be our accommodations as we explore this unique region and its food traditions, culture, history, and people. Experience France off the beaten path with Saveur the Journey! This special journey will be co-led by Dusty Benedict, retired Warren Wilson College Art Professor, who will bring his creative perspective and connection to the arts to the experience, alongside our culinary and cultural exploration of this remarkable region.
