This week-long mindfulness photography course invites participants to slow down and connect with the present moment while exploring the art of seeing. Using smartphones, SLRs, or mirrorless cameras, students learn fundamental photographic techniques while shifting their focus from capturing the “perfect shot” to exploring texture, color, and light with curiosity and heightened awareness of themselves and the surrounding landscape. Guided by mindful breathing and calming soundscapes, photography becomes a meditative practice that supports technical growth, reduces stress, and fosters a joyful connection with the natural world.
