Ben Blackmar loves practicing and teaching woodworking, and has spent over 20 years learning the techniques of the trade, making everything from chairs to musical instruments. As a graduate of North Bennet Street School, he is an expert both on traditional hand tools and machine woodworking methods. He has served as a staff editor of Fine Woodworking Magazine, and currently teaches fine woodworking and manages the woodworking studio at Warren Wilson College.
