Going Hammer and Tongs!

Course will include:

• hammer making: design/function/anatomy & layout of cross peen hammer and how it is used

• tools/techniques: fuller, draw, fly press, power hammer, punch & drift, heat treatment, handle shaping & fitup

• tong making: design/function/anatomy & layout of bolt jaw tongs

• tools/techniques: half/face full/face, fuller, draw, bend, hot & cold chisel, fly press & power hammer, punch, rivet
