Summer Knitting Camp

Subjects covered may include:

• different cast ons

• understanding yarn weights and needle sizes and how they relate to each other to create desirable fabrics

• the structures of knitted fabrics (i.e. garter vs. stockinette vs. cables, lace, etc)

• the knit stitch and the purl stitch

• knitting in the round vs. knitting flat

Jessica excels at helping learners write their own patterns and alter existing ones. Become immersed in the world of fibers, ply, twist, texture, and color!
