Watercolor Painting
Watercolor class covers experimental abstract methods, such as using resists, salts, and other materials blended with traditional representational painting techniques. We will work from plein air outdoors on our beautiful campus and indoors in the studio where students will learn how to layer color to add depth and contrast to their watercolors.
Plein Air Painting
Plein Air Painting translates to painting in plain air, or outdoors. This class embraces the landscape of our beautiful campus, and students will learn how to compose landscapes quickly and capture different lighting effects on site using oil paints or acrylics. No painting experience is necessary; beginners are welcome.
