Fabric Dyeing + Threaded Embellishments on Clothing

Learn to dye clothing and fabrics with low impact dyes with low-water immersion methods, then learn how to transfer your own embroidery ideas (fonts, plants, flowers, geometric/abstract designs) from the screen to amazing water-soluble sticker paper that disappears after you're done stitching. Both dyeing and embroidery will be taught. The result is incredibly unique upcycled garments or pieces of fabric art for your walls or quilt projects. End the week with everything you need to continue doing all parts of this work on your own for as long as it inspires you!

You will learn how to make a fabric book cover and you'll stitch together all the pieces into a unique book. Repurposing old clothes for paper and books pay homage to the Chinese paper inventors and keeps our clothes out of the landfill.
